Cassandra ('she who entangles men')
A daughter of Priam and Hecube, she was endowed with the gift of prophecy
by Apollo, who loved her, but then cursed by him never to be believed
when she rejected his love.
Most famously she prophesied against
accepting the Trojan horse, warning that it was full of armed
men.
She later bore Agamemnon twin sons:
Teledamos and Pelops, after being given to him as war booty.
