Goderich Celtic Roots Festival Enamel I: Develop the basic skills and techniques used to apply and melt powdered glass onto metal. Learn stencilling, dry dusting, sgraffito, under-glaze black, over-glaze black, graphite (and possibly cloisonné if there is time). Complete three pieces using demonstrated techniques. 
Initiated by Warren an Eleanor Robinson almost 20 years go this festival has been fertile ground for collaboration between artists. Enamelling class runs afternoons from Monday to Thursday. REGISTER HERE

Southampton Summer School of the Arts Enamel II: was delighted to learn that a former student, Carl Durance, has been teaching a beginners class in rural Ontario for a couple of years.
