The Celtic Cross these days
is most often made into a piece of
jewellery, but in an effort to avoid the
obvious (and in typically obstinate
manner!) I have resisted the movement in
that direction, as I resist all things
that tend toward the commercial. This cross was originally
commissioned by Ray and Margaret Coble -
two loyal customers that I met at the old
songs Festival in Albany, New York.
I liked the simple
lines of this design, based on a cross
