Since I have not being
doing as many shows as I used to, I have been looking for
ways that I can exhibit my work in interesting and unusual
contexts.

My friend Kevin Mallon,
who is the conductor of a local baroque ensemble, called
Adadia came up with the perfect idea. He would commission a
piece inspired by their latest work and offer it as a door
prize. I would exhibit my work at the concert. So a happy
association began.
The first concert was
the "Dublin" Messiah. Many people don't realise it
but the Messsiah was first performed in Dublin, so Kevin
wanted to create an "Irish" atmosphere around the
production. So tis was the piece on offer:

The
second production was of Henry Purcell, often called the
British Orpheus, so I took inspiration from my Greek series

The third
production is called Thunderbird and is a combination of
native music inspired by legends of the Thunderbird combined
with Baroque compositions with the theme of storms and
thunder. So I picked my little boat on a stormy sea.
